I recently had the coolest opportunity to participate in a Christmas themed give-a-way.  I was given creative freedom as long as it had something to do with the love of decorating for Christmas!  You all know my love for burlap and lace....so here is what I came up with... (I kind of want to keep it for myself....I mean look how good it looks on my table! :) )

ashleigh + andre = l.o.v.e.

I had the wonderful opportunity to do some fun decorations for Ashleigh and Andre's co-ed wedding shower! It was a blast and something a little different than my normal vintage chic style!  Here are some of my favorite details!

 the glorious fireplace!

you know me...I can't have a party without mason jars!

 these were great. vellum paper around a votive candle! they added color and height to \12 tables for under $10!

 my all time favorite...scrap-paper pinwheels.

 these balloons are so much fun. they are 2-3 feet round instead of the typical teardrop shape! They helped add dimension and shape...and were just plain f.u.n.

and this wonderful man.....he makes every night the best night.

penmanship envy

penmanship has always been something I have payed close attention too.  I have always tried to change my handwriting to make it as fun/artsy as possible...well my sister-in-law has the lovely-est, most beautiful handwriting I have ever laid eyes on! to say that I am jealous would be a huge understatement....i mean LOOK at it!
